There was also a tournament at The Railgun yesterday. Didn’t go there because was ~~paktor~~ go watch Ip Man 2 with Tan san.

Mean while, Mr CB-0000G/C was helping out Gamers’ Arena in a YuGiOh tourney at Sungai Wang…

There was a Weiss Schwarz tournament at The Railgun in conjunction with the opening of the shop yesterday…

Xing was doing a intro for the visitors…

Good news to all Weiss Schwarz players in town!! There’s another card shop newly opened and itz dedicated to sell WS products and aims to promote the card game to more people…

The boosters, starters, etc…

View from outside. They are still in the middle of settling down and furnishing the place…

~~Boss~~ Shopkeeper, Henry…

For your information, the shop is setup by Henry (which is the wonder rookie boy who won his WS tourney on the 1st day he learn the card game), with the help of his partners. Really need to salute him for his determination, from a mere card gamer, to doing all the hard work including negotiate with Bushiroad, all-out in setup the shop (heard he had Sai Lang / dump in most of his savings) etc. Perhaps is his passion for the game which drives / motivates him till so far. m(_ _)m

Had heard he wish to do / contribute more for the WS community here in Malaysia. Hope he can do it. ^^

Well, WS-ers out there, don’t hesitate to give him any suggestions and ideas, so that he can improve more, and ofcoz, to serve you better… ^^:

[WS] Weiß Schwarz January Tournaments

There are 2 upcoming tournaments for fellow WS lovers out there this January (Thanks Adrian Shachou for the info ^^):

January Shop Monthly Tournament

Each participant is rewarded with P4/S08-105 休業中のアイドルりせちー(Idol on break, Rise-chii~)

Venue:
Little Akiba

Time:
9th January 2010(Saturday), 1pm onwards. Registration starts 12pm onwards.

Play style:

Open constructed (all cards are permitted, please refer to Bushiroad official site for ban list)

4-5 round swiss(depends on number of players) and victor will be decided with results.

Each round is limited to 25 minutes. Upon time out, both players will be given 1 point each. Winner of the round will be awarded with 3 point.

Player limit:
16 players (minimum of 8 players to start).

Conditions of participation:
Purchase RM30 or higher upon registration. Or entrance fee of RM10.

Prizes:
1st x4 booster packs, 2nd x2 booster packs, x1 booster pack.

The 2nd tournament:

The Movie Memorial Cup (1st half and 2nd half)

Each participant is rewarded with FH/SE03-047 メイド服の凛 (Maid outfit Rin)

Venue:
Little Akiba

Time:
16th January 2010(Saturday), 1pm onwards.(registration starts 12pm onwards)

Play style:

Fate/kara no kyoukai Neo Standard『Fate/空の境界』(FS/～，FU/～，FH/～，KK/～ cards with the codes mentioned are only allowed) ( please refer to Bushiroad official site for ban list)

We will be running another monthly tournament again shortly after this 2, and Fate movie cup will only be held once only!!!, so if are interested in maid- rin, do come! ~.~ personally the maido rin is useful..its a lvl 0 afterall…and it even got me thinking of randomly making a deck and join for the PR!!
(Maid rin approx value is 300yen-500yen per piece, the shop is willing to trade it for 1 pack though)

Oh btw! we do have a full completed illiya/berserker(excluding FHA cards) deck on sale, pls do pm me for price. expect 350-500.(nego able).

Regarding FAte stay night, we have 8TDs in shop and 3box of booster , 17 box of FAte Hollow Atraxia EP, (if there is any orders, please do pm me for it).

OH! before i forget, anyone who have nice/rare/uncommon Fate related/kara no kyoukai music/sound track/albums, please share it with me XD. for the best interest of the atmosphere!

[WS] Weiβ Schwarz Tournament @ Comic Fiesta 2009 (Part II)

Other than tournament contestants, littleAKIBA’s booth at Comic Fiesta 2009 also have attracted many visitors to drop by and have a look of the card game. The staffs have give out some brief tutorials to those who are interested…

[WS] Weiβ Schwarz Tournament @ Comic Fiesta 2009 (Part I)

There was a Weiβ Schwarz tournament at Comic Fiesta 2009, last saturday…

Total 18 players participated in the tourney…

Wilson had been using his laptop to “assist” him throughout the tourney… ^^;

There were 4 round of Swiss…

The playoffs for semifinal seats…

Semifinal #1: Kyon vs Sanjeet…

Semifinal #2: Rayyan vs Lester

Rayyan…

Lester and Sanjeet won their matches, thus the finale…

Lester seems very confident… ^^

The final results, 4th Place goes to Rayyan…

3rd is Kyon…

2nd, Sanjeet…

And the tourney goes to… Lester!!! *clap clap* ^^

Congrats to Lester on becoming the champ. m(_ _)m
