It was supposed to be another ordinary day. Another day where some had to force themselves inside a prison called “office” for another half day before breaking out. A day to start partying for those who need not to work on weekends. But for this particular date, it’s not that ordinary to the citizens in a place called Kuala Lumpur. And also to the nationals in a country called Malaysia. April 28, 2012, was a day where The Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (in Malay, Gabungan Pilihanraya Bersih dan Adil), or simply just Bersih (meaning clean in Malay), has organised a sit in rally at the city center to vow for electoral reform and other issues.

Having missed out on last year’s 2.0 rally, i’m determined to not doing the same again this time. By the help of the almighty social platform called Stalkbook Facebook, i got the words saying that even though the 3.0 rally was to be officially starts at 2pm, April 28, but there are already crowd gathering at Ground Zero (ie Dataran Merdeka, the independence square, the place where organizers wanted the rally to be held at, but a court order was released to ban this) at as early as April 27 noon.

When the clock hits the midnight mark. I was getting excited/passionate for all the wrong/rational reason. And i kinda let the insanity took over. I walked towards Ground Zero, wanted to witness it myself. Wanted to be IN history myself.

Although it’s already passed midnight, there were an awesome number of people gathering at Ground Zero.

Wonder why people gathered in the middle of a damn road? Well, they can’t go in further. The whole vicinity or Dataran Merdeka has been surrounded by barriers, including this thing where you thought you can only see them out side of prison, or some “By-passer will be executed” place, only…

Ya, it’s razor wire. Why the hell they are deploying these things surrounding a public plaza where anyone should be walk into freely? Oh, or i suppose those in the rally, all are armed with weapons, where the authority were just protecting the national monument (the 100+ years old Sultan Abdul Samad Building) from being torn down by fierce protesters.

Let’s have a closer look at these babes…

And they were not the only thing protecting Dataran Merdeka. But, well, just in case the crowd goes berserk/amok, so the deployment of all these troops were needed (actually i really agree on this, to prevent any thing goes out of control on the crowd. But again, we can do NOTHING if this precaution measurement goes amok themselves. And which they eventually have.)

Guess this is the most police i ever seen in the open, on a day without any ceremony or event. Wonder where were they when we needed them.

When the clock hits 2am, i noticed i’ll have to leave. Or else i don’t think i’ll be able to wake up on time for the “Big Show”. The crowd was still massive even though it’s late night. Heard a youth organizer urging the crowd to sit quietly throughout the night, so that the authorities won’t have any excuse to give any trouble to them.

For your info, the above 2 boxes were bought at the EXACT SAME shop, on the EXACT SAME day. The RM169 box was bought by friend Ah Pao 2 hours earlier than me. WTF!!!

Few weeks later, the item has been sold out on almost all of those shops which sell them. Only 1 hobby shop in Berjaya Times Square still have 1 box available, but the price has soared to RM300+.

I know this Shadow Moon is very popular among Kamen Rider Fans. But still, WTF!!!
