[Random Pics: Day#269] Broken Ah Loy

A broken road sign of the road Jalan Yap Ah Loy, whose name is to commemorate Yap Ah Loy, a Kapitan Cina (Chinese Kapitan) served in the mid 1800s and started the development of Kuala Lumpur as a commercial and mining centre…

It is sad to see that such a road sign been torn apart and yet to be repaired. The road might be just a small road, and it might be just an ordinary road sign, but it is indeed a slap on to the face of the chinese community. Why? Let me repeat, the road sign is to commemorate one of the most important Chinese leaders of the pre-independence era. And it’s been torn apart (what even worst is the name has been torn apart). And nobody give a d4mn about it and repair it.

Wonder how will it turn out if the name on the road sign is “Tunku Abdul Rahman” or “Tun Abdul Razak” etc… Perhaps if it really does happened, you might already can see it in the Malay papers…

P/S: Just some thoughs of a little citizen. No offence. No intention of raising the so-call “racial issue”. It’s a public road sign, which also is the property of the state, for god sake.

One of the most “popular” and famous underground musician in our country, Namewee, strikes again. This time he came out another “masterpiece” after he was so piss up with TNB (Tenaga National Berhad, the national Malaysian energy provider company) due to the frequent blackout in his residential area…

As expected from Namewee, the video has spread very fast (had heard it also while i’m at client’s office yesterday) and the post on YouTube have attracts nearly 1500 comments.

There were a series of funny / creative / epic Honda Step WGN commercials released lately…

The Ultra family was having a “family meeting” regarding some transportation issues. And guess what is their solution?

LOL, wonder why Honda associate Ultraman in this advertising campaign. Emphasis on the large inner space of the vehicle? ^^;

By the way, speaking of Ultraman, the upcoming Ultraman movie, “Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legend The Movie” (大怪獣バトルウルトラ銀河伝説 THE MOVIE), had a very unlikely / unusual / special voice actor…

Japanese Politician and past Prime Minister, Junichiro Koizumi has just done the voice-acting for “Ultraman King” in the movie. ^^;

LOL… I think many Dar Gong Zai / Employees would always think that how nice it would be if they were the boss. But i think being a boss is not as easy also. As a employee you still have your bosses to bear all sorts of burden and responsibility for you. But if you are the boss, you will be do all the burden bearing, decision making, risk taking etc. But many will still want to be a boss though…

So, do you want to be a boss?
