Our next stop of the day is the Ulundanu Temple, located at Bedugul (Bratan Lake).

The temple is in the middle of lake, off shore, although not too far from shore.

Had enjoyed my time there very much. It’s calm, cool, tranquil. Brings you peace of mind. ^^

Or perhaps i’ve been over-enjoyed the view, had gone crazy for a brief moment via dancing some “Bollywood Tree Dance” at a garden beside the temple. Been captured by comrades Nico via her phone. (Betrayed T^T)

By the way, next we were brought to a spot (forgot to ask the place’s name) where we can view the twin lake of Lake Tamblingan and Lake Buyan. Twin lake you ask? Oh, those two lakes are located very close to each other.

Due to the limitation of my lens (18mm – 55mm, ie not wide lens, not wide enough), and also i’m not rich enough to own a Sony Nex digital camera where you can take panorama photos, so the only thing i can do is the following…

Use photoshop to combine the photos? Nah, lazy… ^^||

To be honest, the place isn’t that special actually, but still enjoyed the view, although would prefer our driver stop at other place view have nicer view (spotted in car on the way, but the spot seems no place to park car).

Next, we drove back to south, to Tanah Lot Temple. It took us around one and half hours.

Seems it is a big / major tourist spot, as there is a large market at the entrance. Crowd is huge also.

The temple is located on a little rocky islet off shore.

Due to it’s already late afternoon, plus the cloudy and gloomy sky, had a hard time to do the suitable adjustment / settings on my camera. Had gave up in the end T^T

Tourists try to get at close as they can to the temple

In case you didn’t bring any camera, you can try on this “Walking Photo Machine”, whom you can find alot of them wandering / hunting among the tourists. Some even carry a printer with them, to provide you pose-shot-print service in 1 spot. Brilliant ^^||

Looking from the shore towards the entrance…

Already a bit frustrated of not able to take photos other than grayish / black-and-white T^T. The following is taken at a nearby cliff, which can view the temple from far.

The Tanah Lot Temple was our last stop for the day. Went back to Kuta afterwards. Although it’s just a 30km trip, but took us around 1.5 hours due to the narrow roads and heavy traffic.

At night, we had our dinner at Made’s Warong again, to try out different dishes.

Hanhan’s Pork Sate…

My Fried Noodle Special…

Ken’s Green Salad.

And something which makes quite dulan / not happy happened after we paid our bill. Before this we have ordered 2 Lemon Squash, but end up only came 1 glass. I’ve asked the waiter to get me the 1 which haven’t get it, which he did. But when we had paid, while checking the bill, we then had found out that they have charged 1 extra Lemon Squash. So we called one of the staff to clarify this.

Although admitting there’s a mistake / misunderstanding among the staffs, but he insisted that the extra order (which we didn’t make in the first place) cannot be refund or cancel. What he can do is replace (give actually) it with another item with equivalent vale. No choice in the end. Had choose a Ice Chocolate Milk (15k Rupiah).

Lesson learned. Remember to check your bill carefully before pay a thing.

After the leaving the restaurant, the gang had decided to walk around the streets of Kuta to calm out dulan / beh soong / anger of the incident. Had wanted to find Hard Rock Cafe, but had to abandoned our plan due to it rained again. We end up stranded in a small hut at roadside.

It rained from 9pm till about 10pm, and by that time, we were able to see a very familiar scene in front of us…
