It is huge state temple of Mengwi Kingdom surrounded by a wide moat, built in 1634.

A tower structure, where we climbed up and took many “profile pictures”… ^^||

There’re 2 wooden sticks at the top, wonder what is the purpose / meaning…

Their toilet…

Correction. Toilet is further inside on that way. The building in the photo above is of other purpose.

During our visit, have walked pass several local tour guides, explaining the history of the temple to foreigners which they are guiding. We were amazed by how well and fluent these locals can speak the language of their customer, eg Japanese, Russian, etc. Had been stunned again >.<

On our way to next stop, we stop by awhile at road side for padi field shooting...

We’re also been introduce the Kopi Luwak, one of the world’s most expensive and low-production coffee. Have to pay 30k Rupiah to test a small cup.

[P365: Y3D12] Bali, Day 3, pt1

This is what Kopi Luwak made from, beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by the Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) and other related civets, then passed through its digestive tract. No worries, it’ll be processed before make into coffee, so it’s clean.

The luwak coffee isn’t cheap. 250k Rupiah for a small jar T^T.

After the testing session, all of us conclude that we already too get used to instant coffee, as in don’t know how to taste the specialness and appreciate the coffee offered to us. ^^||

After leaving the place, we drive to a road side stall called Warung Nyoman at Bedugul. We’ve ordered a dish called Ayam Betutu.

We shared a full chicken among four of us. We all agree that it’s much more tastier than the babi guling we had the day before.
