The external view of the main prison building. This is the part which facing the Kuala Lumpur Police HQ building…

An open area, which is long abandoned and covered by plants (hmm, what do you call those?)…

Proceed to the administration building. The main gate of the jail can be seen here.

There’s a badminton cum sepak takraw court nearby.

There’s painting on the walls, which greatly resembles those on the outer wall of the prison…

So that’s how it looks like behind the main gate…

Looking at the busy street outside through a small window on the main gate…

The place once served as Hang Tuah Police Station and a temporary drug addict hold up centre.

Ok, time to go back. Some notices on the wall on my way back…

This side of wall is hidden inside, can’t be viewed from the road outside…

A cane workshop, probably for the inmates of the prison, near that portion of wall…

The warning signboard at the place where the wall is torn down (which is the place i sneaked in)…

Well, wasn’t totally alone during my brief “visit” at the prison. Found a few others who also sneaked inside and taking photos, including a foreigner who i met at the administrative building. There’s also a worker of the road-widening project which walked around to take an eye on all these visitors.

While the wall will soon be demolished, the main prison won’t meet the same fate, yet. But the land is indeed been purchased by Uda Holdings Berhad and is been planned to be developed into series of hotels, retails, offices and apartments known as the Bukit Bintang City Centre.
