Many Hokkiens in the country celebrate the eve of the birth of the Jade Emperor yesterday night and practice a ritual called “Bai Tian Gong” (prays to the Jade Emperor of Heaven).

Since i’m not a Hokkien, so for the pass years this day was just another normal working / studying day for me. Well, this year finally have the chance to experience the great atmosphere of how Hokkiens celebrate this day, where they treat as one of the most important day in the long weeks of CNY celebration.
