[WS] Weib Schzwarz tournament @ Anime Hanabi

As what i’ve mentioned in my previous post, there’s a Weiß Schwarz tournament at Anime Hanabi last Sunday.

The following is the brief info about the tournament:

Weib Schzwarz @ Hanabi Competition
Date: 1pm, 15 Nov 2009
Venue: Berjaya Times Square
Entrance Fee: RM5
Play style: Open Constructed
Tournament style: Modified Swiss and Top 4 playoffs
Prizes:
1st – 4 booster packs
2nd – 2 booster packs
3rd – 1 booster packs

And the following is a brief “report” of the tournament…

Lester was giving new player, White Destiny, a brief tutorial on the game…

There were 10 players participated in the event, and the tournament have attracted quite some attention from the crowd…

After about 3 hours of “battle”, the results for the swiss rounds (Player name – Round1 – Round2 – Round3 – Round4 ; 1: Win; 0: Lose) are as below:

And following that, the results for the semis:
Misao win Yuuki
WD win Alex

The final is between Misao and White destiny…

Misao was planning his final attack…

In the end, the match was won by Misao. Congrats ^^

Prize giving ceremony, third place goes to Yuuki…

2nd place goes to White Destiny (which is a new player and only learn to play the game that day ^^;)

Champion goes to Misao. On stage was his representative…

Thanks to the organizers. Next WS event will be at AFA’09. Till then. ^^; (too bad i cant make it to AFA…)
