i came, i saw, i snap

blackbird, fly (Decade Pink)

For those who watched Kamen Rider Decade, you probably will still remember that the protagonist of the series, Kadoya Tsukasa, always bring a camera with him, which has the pink color which resembles the armour of his Kamen Rider Decade form.

Just a few days ago, one of my Jap classmate Nico, who is also a photography fanatic, had bought the camera, “blackbird, fly(Decade Pink)”, with the price of RM500+…

blackbird, fly (Decade Pink)

Due to i’m not the owner of the camera, and the owner herself also not yet try on the camera yet, so i can’t write any reviews here. But since it’s a rare opportunity to get a hand on the limited edition camera which only 1000 2000 units made available worldwide, i’d managed to loulap / curi / borrow the camera from Nico to “study” for awhile.

Front view:

Side view:

Another side view:

Bottom view, as you can see it have the port for mounting on tripod. And oh yea, “Made in China”:

The internal. Forget to mention that it “feeds” on films:

Closer views on the internal:

The usage of the camera is exactly as seen in the series. It is a functional camera, not a toy, although the owner (Nico) not yet test on it…

By the way, the view finder:

It’s actually quite fun looking at the view window, which the view you saw will be flipped horizontally. Too bad no film inserted yet. But had take some shot through the view finder.

Yesterday had joined with Nico to look for films for the camera. Found out that in the city center (KLCC, Sungai Wang) it’s hard to find one suitable. End of the day, she was empty handed and had to search at some other places.

Photos taken yesterday night.

For more information on the camera, kindly click the following:

And ofcoz, please visit the blog of the owner, Nico. But you’ll need to give her sometime to come out her review, as she’s in the middle of studying her new toy…

films you can get anywhere at old photoshops.
If you want a pro feel. you can try to get a film called. Kodak Professional Elite Chrome 100 in Central Market @ Petaling street.
Other films like Ultramax 400 is also usable.
and yeah. BBF decade sold out from what i heard.
You can try at Pavilion/The Garden Mooks Clothing Co.
But the available colour is black.
Price is Rm300(promotion) which is far more cheaper than the ones you order in the net.
I m not sure about the other places which sold the BBF.
