Kamen Rider Decade Ep 1

The latest of the Kamen Rider franchise, Kamen Rider =.=” (oops, i mean Kamen Rider Decade), had its pilot episode aired yesterday morning. The following is the OP sequence:

Overall, this pilot episode is really action packed, with massive CG fiesta right from the start. There are “fan services” (for kamen rider fans kinda fanservices) too, with the rider war scene (*thumbs ups*), the recurring of pass kaijins (Orphenochs, Worms, Fangires, Undeads etc), and Decade’s showing off of how he can transform into pass riders and fight with their way (change to Kabuto and use Clock Up, change to Faiz and use Autovajin etc). Although plot and character wise is so so, its really is one of the most (if not the most) entertaining pilot episode of a Kamen Rider series i’ve seen.

Haha… this episode does seems abit like Tsukasa is inside an Arcade Game, where he was introduced and get the chance of using some Demo-like abilities (aka the change-to-pass-rider thing, he currently can only do that for once and a short time) in a setting like a Tutorial stage. And now he need to “proceed to the next stage” to complete objective-of-the-stage.

Ep 2 Preview

For next week, seems Decade will be facing Kuuga’s Ulti form. And there’s a mystery guy (his attire reminds me of the Mr Watchman from Den-O) who have a grudge against Decade. And what are those Hoppers doing around there (i though it would be “Kuuga’s World)…
